项目摘要

今年度は最終年度として、過去2年間の研究を拡充しつつ、全体としてのとりまとめに努めた。第1に、企業の資本構成と設備投資行動にかかわる研究が、最終的にAsian Economic Journalに掲載され、終了した。第2に、上場行動、上場要因に関する研究については、昨年の学会発表に引き続いてコロンビア大学、名古屋大学等のセミナーで報告し、目下投稿論文として最終的な仕上げの段階に入っている。第3に、昨年度から着手した、金融危機における債務超過と破産手続きについての制度分析については、破産裁判所ベースの企業情報を入手し、研究の準備に取りかかっている。第4に、昨年度からの研究過程で、タイにおける外資系製造業の重要性と特殊性が見いだされたため、あたらに日系企業の資金調達の分析をすすめた。これはマレーシアとの比較を意識しつつ、比較的短期に仕上げ、既に学術雑誌に近刊となっている。第5に、これまでの研究の総論として、金融危機以降の東アジアの金融システム、なかんずくタイの金融システムをめぐる議論を批判的に総括するサーベイ作業を行い、これも既に近刊となっている。調査活動については2005年9月に10日の現地調査を行い、チュラロンコン大学パイロート教授との研究の推進、破産裁判所の視察、データの整理などをおこなった。あわせてタマサート大学、タイ開発研究所のセミナーへの参加、意見交換などによって研究の方向性を議論した。資料収集も行った。その一方、現地日本大使館、日系マスコミ、日系証券会社など実務機関との意見交換も行った。3年間の活動によって、当該分野を中心に現地研究者、実務家との幅広いネットワークを構築することができたことは、1つの成果である。今後は、個々の研究の最終成果の出版を目指すとともに、研究全体としての論旨の整理をすすめ、成果物としてとりまとめる予定である。
