项目摘要

本研究は、初回面接におけるクライエントとセラピストの主観的体験を理解し、ドロップアウトを防止するための臨床的指針を得ることを目的とした。またセラピストの初回面接の体験が臨床経験によってどのように異なるのか明らかにすることも目的とした。具体的には、クライエントとセラピストへのインタビュー・データを質的方法により分析し、二者の体験に表れる心理的テーマを検討した。本年度は主に、これまでの研究成果を論文にまとめる作業とセラピストデータの分析および整理を中心に行った。また、初回面接における不安が強い経験の浅い初心者セラピストに対しての面接調査を行い、クライエントとの接触に関する不安についてより細かな分析を行った。これまで通り、大学付属心理臨床センターに来談した2人のクライエントと彼らを担当した2人のセラピストに対して、初回面接終了後に半構造化インタビューを実施し、初回面接の体験のデータも収集した。その分析の一部をSociety of Psychotherapy Researchの年次大会にて発表した。本年度の分析は、前年度のインタビュー・データから得られたカテゴリーを補い発展する形で行った。前年度の研究において得られた肯定的体験を意味する{心力回復の一歩}と否定的な意味合いの体験である{保留}の新たな下位カテゴリーがより明確になった。クライエントによって報告された治療前変化は、主に「自分自身を見直すことによる気づき・理解」「支えが待っていることの落ち着き」などが見られた。これらの肯定的な治療前変化を報告するクライエントは、初回面接においても肯定的体験をもつ傾向があった。特に初心者セラピストに強い面接における不安について明らかにした。また、本研究から得られた知見をもとに「ドロップアウトを減らすための介入」に関するワークショップを取り入れた授業を試験的に行った。
