本研究はチンパンジーの視覚認識について検討し、ヒト化の過程における運動情報の知覚と認識の進化の特性を明らかにすることを目的とする。本年度は、昨年度の研究の中でヒトとチンパンジーの知覚傾向に差異が見られた因果的事象の視知覚特性についてさらに検討した。衝突/通過のどちらにも両義的に解釈しうる視覚刺激を知覚する際の、音刺激の同時呈示の効果を調べた。ヒトでの先行研究においては、クロスモーダルな刺激の同時呈示による注意の干渉によって知覚的な解釈が衝突に偏ることが報告されている。しかしながら、チンパンジーを対象とした本研究では、音刺激の同時呈示の知覚判断に対する明瞭な効果は認められなかった。上記の実験結果が、ヒトとチンパンジーにおける注意の持続の差異に起因するものかを検討するため、チンパンジーによる運動する物体に対する注意の持続について検討した。実験では、ヒトを対象とした先行研究で用いられたオブジェクトトラッキング実験と同様の課題をチンパンジーがおこなった。実験の結果、チンパンジーは画面上を回転運動あるいはランダムに運動する複数の物体を同時に追跡することができた。同時に追跡することができる円の数の限界は3-4であり、これはヒトの先行研究で示された結果と類似している。一方で、刺激呈示の時間を伸張することにより、チンパンジーではヒトに比べより大きな成績の低下が見られ、両義的な運動事象におけるヒトとチンパンジーの知覚的な解釈の食い違いは、チンパンジーとヒトの注意の持続における差異が一因となっている可能性が示唆された。

This study aims to clarify the characteristics of the evolution of motion information in the process of cognition This year's study compared with the previous year's study, the differences in cognitive tendencies were found in the visual characteristics of causal events. The results of the above study are as follows: (1) the cause of the difference in attention between the two groups;(2) the cause of the difference in attention between the two groups;(3) the cause of the difference in attention between the two groups; and (4) the cause of the difference in attention between the two groups. The first step is to study the problem of the same problem. As a result of this, a number of objects are tracked simultaneously on the screen. At the same time, the limit of the number of traces is 3-4, and the results of the previous study are similar. The difference between the time of presentation and the time of presentation is due to the fact that the performance is low and the movement is significant.
