目的は、セデーションガイドラインの開発にあたり、セデーション施行に関する現状および医療提供者側・対象者側と家族の認識を把握することである。対象は、本研究の目的を理解し、同意が得られた施設およびがんに病む対象者およびその家族である。調査方法は、(1)セデーションに関する先行研究をもとに、セデーションや施行時のケアに関する方法、認識についてアンケートを作成した。その後、研究協力に同意が得られた施設にアンケートを配布した。尚、アンケートは封筒に入れ、研究目的・方法・倫理的配慮に関する内容を記載した同意書をつけ、郵送法とした。(2)がんに病む対象者及びご家族を対象としたアンケートには、ホームページを作成し、研究協力者を募集した。結果について、調査期間は(1)施設については2003年4月〜10月、(2)ホームページアンケートは2003年2月〜2004年2月に施行した。施設へのアンケートは100部配布し80部回収され回収率は80%であった。ホームページからは8名の協力者が得られ、がん対象者は3名、家族は5名であった。がん対象者およびご家族のセデーションの認識についてセデーションについて知っている人は7名で87.5%であった。必要時、セデーションを希望した7名の理由は全員が「痛みで苦しみたくないから」と回答した。医療スタッフヘの希望として「その都度説明してほしい」、「必要なときは側についていて欲しい」が7名で87.5%、誠意のある態度で接して欲しいが6名で75%であった。一方、医療スタッフについては看護師57名(91.9%)、緩和ケア医師3名(3%)であった。対象施設は国立病院、私立大学病院、ホスピス病院が各1施設ずつであった。ガイドラインが必要だと回答した人は56名(90.3%)であった。その内容としては適応基準にっいてが52名(83.9%)、セデーションの評価方法が43名(69.3%)であった。

Objective: To understand the current situation of the development of medical equipment and the knowledge of medical providers and families. The objective of this study is to understand and agree with the objectives of the study. The investigation method includes the following steps: (1) preliminary research on the relationship between the system and the implementation of the system; and (2) preparation of the relationship between the system and the implementation of the system. After that, the research team agreed to set up a joint project. The contents of the consent form and the mailing method shall be recorded in the following documents: research purpose, method and ethical consideration (2)The patient and the family were recruited. Results: The investigation period was (1) April to October 2003, and (2) February 2003 to February 2004. The recovery rate of 80 percent of the 100-part distribution was set.ホームページからは8名の协力者が得られ、がん対象者は3名、家族は5名であった。87.5% of the respondents were from the same family. When necessary, the seven reasons for hope are all "pain and suffering" and answer 7% of the respondents were from the medical field, and 75% of the respondents were from the sincere field. 57 nurses (91.9%) and 3 palliative care physicians (3%) were employed in the study. Each of the facilities is a national hospital, a private university hospital, and a hospital. 56 people (90.3%) answered the question. 52 (83.9%) of the respondents were from the appropriate content and 43 (69.3%) from the evaluation method.
