项目摘要

1.マーシャル諸島共和国高校生を対象としたリプロダクティブヘルスに関する質問紙調査の分析結果を現地関係者に最終報告し、介入の評価をした。多重ロジスティック回帰分析より、マーシャル諸島高校生のリプロダクティブヘルスリスク行動には、リプロダクティブヘルスを個人の権利と考えない態度、知識不足が関連することを明らかにした。現地関係者の評価は、本研究実施は高校生が普段考えることのない問題について考える機会となりリプロダクティブヘルスに関するセンスを養った、実施された介入は文化的タブーがなく、今後の性教育実施に関する認識の重要性を増加させたという内容であった。2.開発途上国で2年以上の看護経験を持つ青年海外協力隊看護職帰国者を対象とした質問紙調査結果(有効回答数284)を分析した。その結果、97.1%が参加して良かったと回答しており、その理由は現地での生活及び看護実践過程での人間的交流を挙げた者が多かった。97.9%が活動中に何らかの困難があったと回答し、それらに対処できたとした者は58.8%、対処を試みたができなかったとした者は29.6%であった。対処できなかった理由は自己の語学力、文化・看護観の相違の大きさを述べた者が多かった。困難への対処として多かった内容は、課題に対するアプローチの継続、他者への相談、コミュニケーションの強化であった。活動成果についての自己評価が高かった者は60.2%であり、その理由は、スタッフの看護に対する認識の改善、業務内容の改善、マンパワーとしての効果、国際交流としての意義が挙げられた。成果に対する自己評価が低かった理由は、長期的な成果が不明、成果がみえるには時間を要する、根本的な問題解決には至らなかった等であった。活動期間中に一層の学習が必要だと感じた頻度が高かった事項は、言語(70.5%)、教育方法(41.6%)、任国の文化(35.9%)であった。
