・文献資料のデータ・ベースを完成した。今後の研究の展開に備えるために、研究を通じて入手、あるいは参照した文献資料をデータ・ベース化した。また、画像資料もモニュメント毎にナンバリングを施し、地図情報、概要等を付してデジタル・アーカイブ化した。・日本の伝統的な建築のあり方を西欧流の概念で把握する事への批判と反省、及び日欧の建築諸概念を言葉とそのメンタリティーのレベルから比較検討して問い直し、「様式」、「文化財」、「保存」、「修理」、「再建」、「細部」、「造り」などの諸概念の日本性を、西欧の対応する概念との比較しつつ考察したもので、文書資料、史料、遺構、技術の検討を通して実施した。・昨年4月に京都で行われた「伝える人・建てる人」のシンポジウムに企画の段階から参画し、シンポジウムにおいて研究発表を行った。皇居・御所を巡って日本建築の文化財、モニュメントとしての特性を考える論考を発表し、論文集の出版に向けて、その内容を学術論文に纏めた。・昨年12月に京都で行われた「東アジア国際建築文化会議」の論文集に、三仏寺投入堂をめぐる建築論的考察を通しての日本建築と時間の関わりに関する論文を投稿し、出版された。・パリ近郊ブローニュの県立アルベール・カーン博物館の日本庭園にある二棟の日本家屋についての建築調査と歴史調査を行った。博物館館長、学芸員と意見交換を行い、二棟の日本家屋の歴史に関する論考を纏めた。また調査報告書の作成に携わり、日本人大工の手で現地に建てられた事、日本に建っていた家屋の一部を移築したものである事、日本の伝統的な建築技術の細部にフランス人の手の痕跡が混入する事を明らかにし、20世紀初頭から今日に至るまでのこの二棟の家屋を巡る日仏の交流をこの家屋の具体的な形の中に指摘した。
