项目摘要

平成17年度は、日本の株式市場と資産担保証券(ABS)市場を対象として、情報の非対称性下におけるマーケット・デザインについて、主として以下の3つの研究に従事してきた。1.東証1部上場企業による業績予想修正発表を対象とした実証分析により、空売り制約がネガティブな情報に対する株価の情報効率性を低下させ、情報公表時に大幅な株価下落を引きおこすことを示した。この研究については、英文学術誌の査読レポートに基づき大幅に改訂し、再投稿中である。2.大橋和彦助教授(一橋大学大学院国際企業戦略研究科),齊藤誠教授(一橋大学大学院経済学研究科)との共同研究として、ABS発行市場におけるスワップ・スプレッドの決定要因を実証的に分析し、ABSの発行者が貸倒引当額を超過して保有する劣後部分が、スプレッドやABS発行額増加に伴うマーケット・インパクトを抑える効果が認められた。この研究成果は、英語論文を『COE/RES Discussion Paper Series』に掲載するとともに、海外学術誌の査読レポートを基に改訂作業中である。和文論文については、林文夫教授(東京大学大学院経済学研究科)編集のコンファレンスボリュームに掲載予定である。3.ABS発行が発行者の企業価値に及ぼす影響をイベント・スタディーにて検証中である。これまでの分析では、ABS発行は企業価値に中立的ではなく、企業価値を上昇、もしくは低下させる可能性が示唆されている。この研究については、さらに詳細に分析した上で、研究成果を学術論文に投稿する予定である。
