本年度は以下の2つの研究に従事してきた。第一に,前年度に引き続き,日本の上場企業による最低取引金額の引下げが,株式収益率の決定に及ぼす影響を実証的に検証してきた。2001年10月から2005年3月に実施された売買単位の変更(くくり直し)の前後一年間の株式収益率を分析することにより,(1)くくり直し前の株式収益率には固有リスクに対するプレミアムが反映されていたこと,(2)売買単位の引き下げにより,個人株主が増加し,固有リスク分散が進んだ企業ほど,プレミアムが低下していたことが明らかとなった。また,株式分割による最低投資金額の引き下げにおいても,一部のサンプルにおいて同様の結果が得られている。第二に,証券化による資金調達が,資金調達者であるオリジネーターの企業価値にどのような影響を及ぼすのかを実証的に検証してきた。格付け機関が2001年から2004年の期間に実施した証券化商品の格付情報の公表がオリジネーターの株価に及ぼす影響を分析した結果,証券化のアナウンスメントは株価を若干上昇させる効果を持つが,その効果は統計的に有意ではなく,証券化が企業価値に中立的であることが確認された。くくり直しに関する研究成果については,邦文論文を査読者のコメントを基に改訂中であり,改訂版を学術誌に再投稿する予定である。同研究の英語論文については,国際学会における査読付きの口頭発表に採択されている。証券化論文については,追加分析を行った上で,その研究成果をまとめて学術誌に投稿する予定である。
