项目摘要

本研究では,Web上に存在する活きたデータ(Webコーパス)とオンライン辞書や新聞・論文アーカイブなど電子化された言語資源を活用して,英文作成のための有益な情報提供を目的とした英文作成支援ツールの構築を目的とする.本年度は,下記の項目を中心に研究を実施した.1.用例健作機能および提示法の改良一部が不明な表現や用例の検索にはワイルドカードが有用である.本年度は,昨年度のワイルドカード検索機能の拡張を行い,ワイルドカード位置にある候補を自動で推定し,ランキングする機能,ワイルドカードに対する候補指定機能などが利用可能となつた.この拡張により,柔軟な検索機能を提供できる.また,昨年度のツールは検索エンジンの適合度順で用例提示を行っていた.本年度は,ユーザの英語力に基づいて用例をランキング提示できる機能を実装した.ユーザの英語力は,語彙と熟語により判定する.判定材料には,JACET8000とアルクのSIL6000を利用した.基本的な考えとして,用例文中に含まれる単語・熟語のレベルとユーザ指定のレベルとの差が少なく,かつ用例文中に指定レベル以上の単語が含まれにくい文を適合していると見なした.アンケート評価および定量的評価から,検索結果の適合度順と比較し,使いやすい結果となった.更にユーザが必要とする情報を検索ログに追加できる機能も実装した.2.ログを活用した語学学習支援昨年度,ユーザがツールを利用する際の様々な情報をログとして保存する機能を実装した.このログには,ユーザが苦手とする情報が蓄積されていると考えられる.そこで本年度は,ログを分析することで,(1)ユーザが苦手とする文法項目の提示,(2)苦手分野を克服するための空間補完問題の自動生成と自動採点,(3)単語・熟語帳の自動生成,を実装した.
