平成17年度は、昨年度に構築したデータ・セットを用いて、実証分析を行った。分析に使用したデータはHS9桁分類の詳細な日本の輸出統計である。同貿易統計を用いると1988年から現在までの月次データが輸出品目別、輸出相手国別に利用可能である。本研究では、日本の主要な輸出品目から数十種類の品目を選択し、それぞれ輸出品目を輸出相手国別に為替レートのパス・スルー率を計測した。パス・スルー率を推計する際には、各輸出品目の単位価格(Unit Value)を為替レートに回帰した。推定はFull sample(1998年〜2005年)だけでなく、いくつかのSub-sampleに分けて行った。さらに、Time-varying parameterモデルによる推定も行い、パス・スルー率が80年代末頃からどのように変化してきたかを分析している。現在、以上の分析結果をまとめてWorking Paper執筆している。早ければ18年度初めにもWorking Paperを完成させ、学会での論文発表と、査読付の学術誌への投稿を行う予定である。なお、本研究成果の一部は、『現代の経済政策』(有斐閣)所収の「国際通貨・貿易システムと先進国経済政策」において発表している。

Part of the results of this research is a development of "International Currency and Trade System and Advanced Country Policy" published by "Modern Economic Policy"(Youfei Pavilion).
