项目摘要

社会人を対象とした夜間大学院の教育活動の実態を評価するために、看護系大学院を修了した社会人大学院生43名と、その特別研究指導にあたった教員22名、および社会人大学院生を雇用する職場管理者18名を対象とした面接調査を行なった。その結果、3者に共通して抽出されたキーワードは時間、優先度、自信、研究能力、役割遂行であった。社会人が大学院で学ぶことへのニーズは高く、職場も積極的に進学を応援していたが、大学院生は入学前には予測できなかったさまざまな困難に遭遇していることが明らかになった。また、教員も自分の指導力への自信のなさや時間調整に苦慮しており、職場管理者は両立のための支援体制に困難を感じているなど、3者には共通した課題が存在していた。しかし、3者が協同して問題解決にあたった事例はなく、入試選抜方法の改善やFD、教育方法の改善、社会へのアピールなどに加え、社会人学生の内外環境を整えるための3者の話し合いや具体的目標の設定など、今後に向けた課題が明らかになった。
