本研究では、言語学的な理論研究と情報学的な言語処理に共通する問題から、前者にとっては説明する意義があり、後者においても形式化が期待される焦点解釈をめぐる言語情報構造の問題を取り上げてきた。そして、解釈の要因の多元性を説明するために、言語情報の融合を理論的に実現し、またそうした枠組でも解析処理が重くならない軽量な情報表示・制約で構成される結合範疇文法(CCG)モデルを記述、提案することを目的とした。言語情報が複雑に関連し合う焦点解釈の説明および形式化には問題の切り分けが必要となる。本研究では年度毎に下位課題を設定し、またそれぞれの解決にi)言語情報の部分性の理論化、ii)部分的計算過程の明示、を行ってきたが、この最終年度では、そうした研究の統合として、現象全体の理論的説明と全体計算を動員したコーパス解析を試みた。論文Case, Coordination, and Information Structure in Japaneseでは、日本語CCG文法の骨子の設計を述べ、計画初年度で提案した焦点解釈に関する情報構造分析を拡大し、英語との比較を通して軽量なCCGモデルとして形式化した。さらにこのモデルをもとに日本語コーパスを解析することで、汎用性の高い日本語文法の抽出を行い、また年度内の成果報告には至らなかったものの、その研究成果は国際会議に投稿することができた。論文The Effect of Quantification in Japanese Sentence Processing ならびに「普遍量化子『すべて』によるガーデンパス効果の減少」では、他の研究者との交流を通じて、人間の言語処理メカニズムの研究という観点から、実験結果に期待される文法、とりわけ意味・語用論的側面について考察した。ここで形式化したDRTもまた、軽量なモデルであり、なおかつCCGとも融合させやすい。実際英語ではそのような分析がなされており、計算機実装も存在する。しかし、そうした段階に到るには、分析すべき言語現象や言語情報表示のさらなる精緻化が、日本語研究には課題として残されているということを本研究は明らかにするところに留まっている。CCG・DRTモデルとしてまとめ上げた多元的言語情報の研究には、さらなる融合という発展的な課題が残されている。しかし、これらはi)軽量な日本語CCG分析、ii)焦点解釈に有効な多元的言語情報の表示、iii)コーパス・心理実験を通じた言語処理の研究、として、本研究の試みとしては十分な成果であり、文法解析の優位性をも示した。

This study focuses on the theoretical study of speech processing in informatics, the interpretation of the former, and the formalization of the latter. The multidimensionality of the essential causes of speech information fusion is explained, and speech information fusion theory is realized, and speech information fusion theory is composed of analytic processing, quantitative information representation, restriction, and combination category grammar (CCG). Verbal information is complex, interrelated, focused, explained, formalized, and problematic. This study sets up the following topics: i) partial theoretical analysis of speech information; ii) partial theoretical analysis of speech information; Case, Coordination, and Information Structure in Japanese CCG Grammar Design Description, Project Initial Year Proposal, Focus Resolution, Information Structure Analysis, English Comparison, Quantity, CCG Grammar Formalization Japanese language grammar analysis, universal Japanese language grammar extraction, annual results report, international conference contributions The Effect of Quantification in Japanese Sentence Processing is "The Reduction of the Effect of Universal Quantifier". It is a study of the communication between other researchers and the study of human speech processing. This is a form of DRT, a quantity of CCG and a combination of CCG. English is the language of analysis and computer equipment. This study focuses on the refinement of speech phenomena and the presentation of speech information. CCG·DRT is a research topic on multi-dimensional speech information. This study attempts to demonstrate the superiority of grammar analysis by analyzing the quantitative CCG of Japanese, by focusing on multidimensional speech information representation, and by studying speech processing through psychological communication.
