项目摘要

本研究の目的は、子育て開始期の親が子どものため、あるいは子育て生活のためにどのようなモノ・ひと環境を整備していくのかを把握し、その背景にある親の意識や、そうした多様な環境が子ども、ならびに親の発達にもたらす影響を明らかにすることであった。平成17年度に行った日誌調査と平成18年度に行った自然観察調査をもとに、本年度はその成果発表と不足部分のデータ収集を行った。日誌調査の結果については、日本心理学会において「子育て開始期に親はどのようなモノの助けを借りるか-4カ月齢から12カ月齢までの縦断的日誌調査から-」と題してポスター発表を行い、一応の成果報告を完了した。現在このデータを学術雑誌に投稿すべく準備に取り掛かっているところである。また自然観察調査に関しては、平成18年度に行った公園での観察調査に加えて、郊外型スーパーマーケットでの子ども連れの家族の観察を実施した。具体的には、親子の関わりやカート等の使われかたの実態調査を行い、年齢の低い子どもがいる家族においてほど、カートをはじめとする"モノ"とその場にいる"ひと"とが、共に補完しあうかたちで、子どものいる生活を支えていることが明らかになった。以上のことから、親の育ち、子どもの育ち、そしてモノ、ひと環境のつながりを新たな視点で捉えることが出来そうである。これについても現在、投稿論文としてまとめる準備を進めている最中である。子育て中の親の心理については、これまでは質問紙による調査が主であった。本研究は、より日常的、行動的レベルにおいて子育て開始期の親の心理に迫ることをめざし、観察やインタビュー調査を実施してきた。モノとひとの環境整備を軸に、親の心理について新たな知見を多数得た。
