A Study of Abuse of People with Disabilities Who are getting Older

这项研究的目的有三个方面；1)评估残障人士受虐程度；2)识别残障人士受虐地点；3)评估不同残障人士受虐地点及程度的差异。在2006年和2007年进行了四项独立研究。首先，在2006年对2000名有发育障碍的成年人及其家庭进行了一项研究。结果，获得932份有效回复。（有效回复率46.6%）。其次，对1450名智障人士及其家庭进行了一项研究。共获得有效回复536份，有效回复率为36.9%。第三，研究对象是1000名身体残疾的成年人及其家人。在肢体残疾人群中，以脑瘫患者居多。共获得有效应答564份，有效应答率为56.4%。第四，这项研究是在3300多名sci患者及其家人中进行的。结果，获得1013份有效问卷，有效回复率为30.6%。关于虐待残疾人的结果，发现如下。首先，关于有发育障碍的人，有很多人在学校受到过虐待。特别是身体残疾的人，27.0%的人在学校遭受过虐待。第二，对于有精神障碍的人来说，有很多人在工作场所遭受过虐待。第三，比较不同残疾类型的差异，与其他类型的残疾相比，s型人格障碍患者遭受虐待的经历更少。本研究的局限性在于，在发育性残疾和肢体残疾的情况下，有很多情况下，家庭回答的问卷占残疾人士的一半。因此，不仅存在着残疾人的意识，也存在着残疾人家庭的意识。少

The purpose of this study is three fold; 1) to assess the level of abuse of people with disabilities, 2) to identify places where abuse toward people with disabilities occurs, and 3) to evaluate the differences in location and level of abuse among types of disabilities.Four independent studies were conducted in 2006 and 2007. First, a research was administrated to 2000 adults with developmental disabilities and their families in 2006. As a result, 932 valid responses were obtained. (valid response rate is 46.6%).
