In this research, the experiment and the examination were conducted aiming to evaluate the workers physical stability when they work and walk in construction sites, and the analysis of the industrial accidents and the investigation of physical ability of worker were done. The achieved results are shown bellow.1)Analysis of industrial accident and injuryThe relation between the age of workers and the accidents incidence ratio was analyzed, and in addition the working environment indexes that seem to become factors of Heat Stroke were measured. From the analysis age-accidents incidence relation shows bathtub type tendency, and the ratio of workers belong high age group and dangerous increases, so the necessity of safety programs for them are clarified. As for Heat Stroke, it was found that the number of accidents were increases when the temperature exceeds 30℃. And it was shown that works on the ground part were dangerous. Furthermore, a method of calculating WBGT that was able to be pre … More sumed on the site from a temperature and relative humidity was proposed.2)Analysis of physical stabilityBMI (Body Mass Index) calculated according to the height and weight was adopted as an index of the body. Afterwards, it newly proposed the index (It was recorded as L-value) obtained from tracks at the load center of foot bottom as an index that evaluated stability, and the stability of the physical stability was evaluated. It was confirmed that BMI and L-value are useful to evaluate the physical stability of working in construction sites, because from the experiment result BMI and L value were different when in walking in slope or carrying heavy load.3)Investigation of worker's physical functionsFrom the survey and the analyzed results of 1,010 total workers, it was found that the tendency to the blood pressure had no difference between workers and general people, muscular power of workers was higher than general people and high age group was more same as this tendency. The physical balance ability of workers was lower than general people, and the influence of work was expected. Moreover, the peak seemed on age group that was higher than general people, and for rise of physical ability cause by work. The number of workers who answered suffered lumbago were 226, and these cases seemed by the compensable occupational disease chronic lumbagos that did not correspond. In each kind of construction works, there were a lot of people who suffered lumbago that constant posture like the plumbing, and the roof construction, etc. was kept and they were occupational categories of working occupational category, reinforced concrete construction, and formwork, etc. to which the weight thing was transported.
