项目摘要

近代フランスの舞台芸術における女性の表象を衣裳との関係から描き出すことを目的に、本年度は、昨年度に引き続き、戯曲の校訂版の作成を行うと共に、1)異性装の文化的・文学的背景の研究、2)当時の演劇状況における意義の研究を中心に行った。とりわけ、Les Amazones Modernes(Legrand,1727)の校訂版作成と分析により、男装と並んで十七、十八世紀の文芸に大きな影響を与えたアマゾネス神話のテーマの重要性を明らかにした。アマゾネス神話は、十七、十八世紀のフランスで再び脚光を浴び、男装と並んで「戦う女」「強い女」を描くための主要な芸術的テーマの一つとなった。2007年8、9月に渡仏し、国立図書館にて、十七世紀末から十八世紀にかけて発表されたアマゾネス関連の主要な文献と当時の演劇状況の調査を行った結果、Legrandは、当時のアマゾネスのブームを現実社会の批判に巧みに利用していることが分かった。加えて、「アマゾネスが男装する」という荒唐無稽な設定を用い、作品中のヴォードヴィルの歌詞に女性の権利主張を盛り込むことで、ライバル劇団の特色の一つであった男装及びヴォードヴィルを活用し、テーマ性と娯楽性の両立を可能にしていることが明らかになった。この研究結果を論文としてまとめ、フランス語で発表した。なお、本年度前半には、十七世紀末から十八世紀にかけての衣裳と性の関係についての意識の変化を、多数の戯曲の分析から検証した論文をフランスで出版された国際学会研究論文集に発表した。さらに、異なったジャンルにおける異性装の位置づけを検討するため、悲劇の例としてZaide(LaChapelle,1681)の校訂版を作成し、現在分析を行っている。今後、これまでの研究成果をジャンルごとに比較検討し、上演の形態が異性装の表象と受容にどのように関連しているかを論文にまとめ発表する予定である。

The relationship between women's appearance and clothes in modern stage art is described in this paper. The purpose of this year's introduction is introduced in the past year.
