项目摘要

二年度目、最終年度は、スペインのカリブ海域最初の植民地拠点、すなわちラテンアメリカ最初の植民都市であるサント・ドミンゴ(ドミニカ共和国)の臨地調査を行った。エスパニョーラ島の最初の都市であり、少なくともキューバ島の都市の原初形態として明らかにしておく必要があると考えたからである。そして、第一年度目に行ったキューバのスペイン植民都市について、精力的に論文をまとめた。次に挙げるもの以外に、2008年度に以下がある。特筆すべきは、他の植民都市にはみられない、ハトとコラルという円を用いた領域分割システムを明らかにした点である。J.
