当年度は、昨年度の研究成果を掘り下げ、認識における構成的原理(カテゴリー)の基礎づけというカントの課題が、アンチノミー論という形而上学批判の核心部分との関係において発生したプロセスを探求した。カントによれば、アンチノミー論が批判対象とする合理的宇宙論とは、「現象の解明」に関わる探求であるとされるが、このカントの不分明な言葉の意味を明らかにするために、研究者はカントの形而上学講義録に着目した。そこでは、世界全体の本質規定を巡る矛盾対立(アンチノミー)の原因が、知性的な世界概念(知性界)と感性的な世界概念(感性界/現象界)との混同にあると説明され、対立する独断的主張は、通常理解されるように、合理的な前提だけに基づく主張ではなく、知覚表象から成る現象の概念に基づいた主張であることが示唆されている。このことから、アンチノミーの源は、たんに絶対者を要求する人間理性の本性のうちだけに求められるのではなく、感性界と知性界との混同を誘発する原因、すなわち、<感性的に与えられた知覚表象を知性的に概念把握する>というわれわれの経験的認識の本質に根ざしていることが分かる。従ってアンチノミーの根深さは、知覚的経験が感性と知性の協働によって初めて成立する、というカントの知覚論の立場において初めて洞察されるものである。以上のことから、感性界と知性界の混同というアンチノミー論の問題意識が、感性と知性との正しい融合の理論を確立する、という演繹論・図式論の生成に密接に関わっていることが理解された。当年度は上記の研究に加え、発表には至ってないが、リードの知覚論の研究も進め、リードがヒュームの懐疑的結論を回避するために、カントとは正反対の方向から、構成的原理の想定という結論に至っていることを明らかにした。この研究を踏まえて、カントとリードの知覚論の比較考察をまとめたい。
