文法理論の拡張にあたって実用論を援用しようとする試みは少なくない。本プロジェクトでは意味論を諸インターフェイスの中心に据えて、コンテクストと文法の相互関係についての研究を進めた。記述上の対象領域としては情報構造とアスペクト, 時制, モダリティー(ATM)を選択し、一方では, パージングを基盤に置いた構文解析を言語運用の分析と見なすDynamic Syntax(DS)の統語理論的な可能性を検討した。他方では、形式意味論・実用論と認知意味論・実用論の双方の成果を取り入れながらテクスト・ディスコースとコンテクストの分析を進めた。 なお本プロジェクト期間中に、当研究グループから4本の博士論文が提出された。

The grammar theory is applied to the application of grammar theory. This paper discusses the relationship between grammar and meaning. Description of the field of information structure, selection, timing, selection, analysis of speech application, and discussion of the possibility of Dynamic Syntax(DS) theory. The other side, the formal meaning theory, the practical theory, the cognitive meaning theory, the practical theory, the two sides of the results of the analysis During the period of this study, 4 doctoral theses were proposed.
