项目摘要

前年度の研究を引き受けるかたちで,当年度は,今日特に「直接的実在論」と呼ばれる知覚の哲学における一つの立場とフッサールの知覚論を突き合わせ,両者の差異と共通点を明らかにすることを試みた。その成果を学会発表において公表した。一方の発表において,特にフッサールの「理性」論を考慮しながら,知覚ないし知覚的認識と現実・実在とのあいだに成り立つ関係のあり方を考察した。フッサールの見解は,一面直接的実在論的な知覚論に近い発想を含んでいるが,しかし他面,フッサールにとって,知覚的認識の可能性は,理性の媒介を含んだ直接性という独特な仕方で成り立つものである以上,端的に素朴実在論的な知覚論と同一視されうるわけではない。「媒介を含んだ直接性」というこの事態は,なお詳細に研究される必要のあるものであるが,この研究は単に狭い意味での現象学的研究となるだけでなく,今日の知覚の哲学における諸議論と照らし合わせれば,豊かな哲学的洞察の源泉となることが期待される。もう一方の発表においては,いわゆる「選言主義」とその背景にある思想とフッサールのそれとを比較しながら,前述の論点をさらに敷衍して論じた。いわゆる選言主義が,他人の心をめぐるウィトゲンシュタインの考察と並んで,心の「内」と「外」との二分法に支配されてきた伝統的な知覚論に対する攻撃を含む以上,この研究は,フッサール現象学における「志向性」の概念をより洗練された仕方で論じるための一つの重要な視点を示唆するものであった。当年度においてなされた諸研究は,なお今後のさらなる研究を促すものであり,その成果はその意味においても,確かに有意義なものであったと言えよう。
