项目摘要

本年度は以下の研究を行った。ローマ期テプテュニスの家族史研究については、先々年度に作成した論文「ある家族の衰退」を大幅に書き改め、現在印刷中である。また同論文の英語版を外国の学術雑誌に投稿し、審査中である。また博士論文の他の部分についても改訂を進めた。また2006年に発表した邦語論文「ローマ期エジプトにおける兄弟姉妹婚」の改訂英語版Brother-Sister Marriage and Inheritance Strategies in Greco-Roman Egyptをロンドン大学のRowlandson博士と共に作成し、英国の学術雑誌Journal of Roman Studiesに掲載した。ここでは邦語論文以後に発表された研究を批判的に検討し、新たな論点を盛り込みつつ自説を再論した。ザウィエト・スルタン採石場のグラフィティ研究に関しては、前年度の調査概報を公刊し夏期に現地調査を行った。さらにグラフィティの二言語併用状況の歴史的性格を明らかにすべく、プトレマイオス朝行政における二言語併用文書の使用実践について考察し、アコリス遺跡調査の公開研究会で報告「プトレマイオス朝の行政と文字:二言語併用文書をめぐって」を行った『史学雑誌』第118編第5号「2008年の歴史学界」で「古代ローマ」の項目を執筆し、2008年に出版された古代ローマ史に関する邦語文献の紹介・批評を行った。鷲田睦朗氏と共訳したムーリツェン「民衆/民会の権力:ローマ政体への新しいアプローチ」は共和政期ローマの政治体制を論じたもので、ヘレニズム諸王国を下し地中海世界全域にわ社たる帝国を成立させたローマ理解を深めるものである。これらはエジプトを地中海世界の文脈でとらえる作業の一環社として位置付けることができる。

This year, the following research was conducted. The family history of the family was studied in the first year. The paper "The decline of the family" was greatly revised and now printed. The English version of the same paper is submitted to foreign academic journals and reviewed. Some of his doctoral thesis was revised.
