项目摘要

本年度は研究課題に関わる理論的な枠組みを構築することに勉めてきた。端的にいえば、ポストコロニアル批評的観点と植民地近代論から天理教の近代経験を意味付ける視座を獲得することといえる。その成果の一部が論文「ポストコロニアル批評と植民地朝鮮」(『季刊日本思想史』76号、ぺりかん社、2010年5月)に反映されている。そして近年出版された川瀬貴也著『植民地朝鮮の宗教と学知-帝国日本の眼差しの構築』の書評報告をとおして、植民地朝鮮の宗教研究における発展的課題を提案した。また、天理教の植民地朝鮮布教を当時の宗主国日本の状況と並んで、台湾、中国布教のあり方とも比較しつつ検討する作業を行っている。これに関しては今年6月に立命館大学で開かれる「宗教と社会」学会第18回学術大会において「イデオロギーと希望-天理教の三教会同」というテーマで報告する予定である。植民地期朝鮮の学術と宗教をめぐる言説の拮抗関係を、当時のキリスト教宣教師の言説、檀君研究、日本人学者(主に赤松智城)の朝鮮民俗研究などを視野に納めながら分析した論文「唯一神観念をめぐる知の競争-赤松智城の再評価をめぐって」(未発表)が完成されており、学会報告、学会誌への投稿を予定している。そして、植民地朝鮮の宗教状況においてもっとも重要なテーマの一つである「近代仏教」との関連を研究するために今年度4月から、国際日本文化研究センターの共同研究「仏教から見た前近代と近代」の共同研究員として活動することも決っている。天理教の植民地朝鮮布教に関しては主に『天理時報朝鮮版』『道友』などの資料を中心に、布教の全体像を把握するための作業を行っている。最後に、これらの研究成果をまとめつつ、博論の完成を目指している。

The antagonistic relationship between Korean scholarship and religion in the period of planting people, the speech of missionaries in the period, the study of Tan Jun, the study of Korean folk customs by Japanese scholars (mainly Chi Song Chi Cheng), and the analysis of the paper "The competition of knowledge of the only god-Chi Cheng's reevaluation"(unpublished). In April of this year, the International Japanese Cultural Research Center conducted a joint research on the religious situation in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. The main purpose of this article is to provide information on the work of the Korean People's Republic of China. Finally, the research results of this paper are pointed out.
