项目摘要

本年度は平成19年度・20年度分の研究成果も取り組み、最終的なとりもとめを行った。まず、解剖時の遺族対応のあり方については、法医学者のみならず、病理医・診療関連死モデル事業における調整看護師との意見交換会等に出席し、望ましい対応のあり方等について、実際的かつ前向きな検討を行った。昨年度から着手した研究、司法解剖実施に伴う解剖遺族への対応のあり方については、関係各所の関係者と討議を加え、昨年度作成した遺族向けリーフレットの更なる改変を行った。司法解剖時の遺族への対応に関しては、ソフト・ハード両面での総合的な整備が今後必要であることも新たに考えられ、これについては今後の研究における検討課題とした。なお、上記に該当する研究成果・論文は下記の通り、学術雑誌に投稿・受理された。次に、診療関連死を巡る死因究明と争訟化要因の関連性については、以下のようにとりまとめを行った。解剖結果の開示有無により、当事者である医療者・遺族双方の円滑かつ建設的な対話の破綻要因になりうることや、当事者の争訟化要因となる可能性を示唆するものであった。公正・専門性が担保された死因究明および関係者間に公平な情報共有により早期に紛争解決を図りうる可能性も研究から判明した。なお、司法解剖時の解剖遺族への対応のあり方について、昨年度から行った質問紙・半構造化面接調査を基に、取りまとめた学術論文(Importance of explanation before and after forensic autopsy to the bereaved family : lessons from a questionnaire study)は英国の欧文雑誌に投稿後受理された。その内容は医学博士学位に値するものとの評価を受け、平成22年3月25日付けで医学博士学位の授与を受けた。その他、本テーマ内において取りまとめた論文を、現在投稿中である。
