英文摘要
The aim of the present investigation was to invent next-generation dental resins which contain Bis-GMA and is absolutely safe. The fundamental techniques to suppress the bisphenol A elution by mixing activated alumina fillers with high bisphenol A-scavenging activity were presented.1. Various commercial Bis-GMA monomers were analyzed by HPLC. Bis-GMA content of the monomers was about 50 % and approximately 25 % of Iso-Bis-GMA, an isomer of Bis-GMA, was present. Therefore, it was found that commercial Bis-GMA monomers contained about 80 % of Bis-GMA including isomers. Pure Bis-GMA main component was obtained in 20 to 30 % yield by silica gel column chromatography treatment of commercial Bis-GMA using chloroform as mobile phase.2. Chemical-curing and visible-light-curing resins were prepared by combining pure Bis-GMA with comonomer initiator, and filler. Various properties of cured resins revealed that it is quite helpful to scavenge and immobilize impurities such as bisphenolA in a Bis-GMA composite.3. In order to evaluate self-scavenging and self-immobilizing performance for bisphenol A of activated alumina fillers, a lot of experimental visible-light-curing composite resins with different composition were prepared. Bisphenol A was effectively scavenged and immobilized by introducing 50 wt% of basic activated alumina into Bis-GMA composites. Based on the measurements of various properties of cured resins, the introduction of activated alumina was proved effective, although there is some room for further improvement.
