本研究は,旅行者の交通時間価値の特性を分析することを目的とするものである.我が国の交通行動実績データを用いた交通時間と交通時間価値との関係および所得水準と交通時間価値との関係に関する分析,東京とカールスルーエとの交通時間価値の比較分析,我が国の交通行研究の実績データを用いた交通時間価値のメタ分析を行った後,今後,我が国において行うべき交通時間価値研究の方向性を示した.
