2007年度は,前年度に収集・整理した滑川道夫の戦前から戦後初期(1950年代頃まで)の資料をもとに,学会発表(第17回教育文化学会)と論文の執筆・学会誌への投稿をした。研究結果の概要は次のとおりである。城戸幡太郎についての資料の収集も継続して行い,戦後初期に氏が「図書教育」を唱えたことを複数の資料に改めて確認したが,その数は少なく,論文として整理するには至らなかった。これについては,継続して関連資料をあたっていくこととした。・滑川の読書指導論の形成について検討すべく,著述を整理・検討した本研究では,氏の読書指導の理論形成の作業の戦前と戦後の連続と断絶の両面が明らかになった。戦中期の1930年代後半期に,児童文化運動の広まりとともに,滑川は読書指導への関心を深め,かつて桑原隆が指摘していたとおり,1941(昭和16)年に出版された『児童文化論』中に,戦後の氏の読書指導論の本格形成につながる端緒が認められた。そして,占領下にあって,1947(昭和22)年春のCIE教育課側の指示を契機に滑川の読書指導論は具体化され,指導のための要項が作成されるなどした。そして,1949(昭和24)年になるころまでには,戦後の滑川の読書指導論の重要な構成要素が見出されていた。・滑川の読書指導論は戦前から継続して形成・発展させられてきたが,一方で読書指導の要項作成は,占領軍側からの指示に端を発した戦後教育改革の進展の中で取り組まれていた。そうして作成された要項が,作成者の意図は別にして,戦後日本において,読書指導の形式化や人びとのそれに対する表層的な理解を呼んだ可能性がある。これは,綴方教育の自由選題論争,言語技術教育の是非の論争にもつながる論点であり,今後さらなる検討が必要である。

In the past, the book guidance theory was formed and developed, and the important items of the book guidance were created. In the future, the education reform progress was selected and organized. The author's intention is different from that of the author, and the formalization of the book guidance is possible. The debate on the free choice of topics in education, the debate on the right and wrong of speech technology education, and the need for discussion in the future
