本研究は、東京労働安全衛生センターの相談記録から、外国人労働者の労災・職業病に着目し、その現状を把握するための集計・分析を行った。相談のほとんどは資格外就労である非合法的な立場であり、製造・建設・土木・サービス業等が多かった。そのうち6割以上が入社後1年以内に被災しており、骨折・切断等の職業生外傷が多かった。この傾向は、1990年代前半に指摘された状況とあまり変化がなく、この領域における安全対策・安全教育のあり方と生活支援の必要性がいっそう必要であることが示唆された。
