本研究課題は、芸術教育活動における子どもの活動を記録・分析することによって、子どもの意味産出の行為を実現するカリキュラム開発の視点を明らかにするものである。実際に子どもの活動を記録・分析することにより、意味産出の行為を実現する子どもの活動は、子どもの行為と行為、他の子どもや教師の行為、材料や用具、活動する場などとの複雑な意味関連かたちづくることが明らかにされた。したがって、題材開発の際には、子どもが主体的に活動でき、活動を複雑に展開できるようにする視点が求められる。
