代数体上の楕円曲線の数論における中心的な研究対象の一つであるSelmer群を具体的に計算するためのアルゴリズムの開発を行った。既存のアルゴリズムを分析し、改良を試みながら、実例計算によるデータの収集を行う一方で、開発中に得られた知見を理論的に応用する考察も行い、代数体上の楕円曲線のTate-Shafarevich群の大きさの非有界性や、楕円曲線の2進岩澤不変量についての新たな事実の発見といった成果を得た。

The research work of the Center for computer Science on Algebraic Systems is like the calculation of specific data in the Selmer group. The existing data analysis, improved data analysis, and example calculation show that the data collection is in one way, that the theory of knowledge and knowledge is available, that the Tate-Shafarevich group is not bounded, that curve 2 is not boundedly bounded, and that the results are satisfactory.
