Study on the redefinition of historical tradition and the trends of scientific research and education in the former Soviet Asian countries.

This study aims at comparatively interpreting recent trends and characteristics shared by and being developed in the post-soviet historiography of former Soviet socialist countries including Mongolia, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Russian Sakha Republic. Then the interpretation is focused on the characteristics of the nationalistic approaches of historical studies and education constructed by the countries and its inheritance from the socialist regime.
