The task shares a German translation project of the The Rig-Veda, the earliest Indian hymns collection redacted about 1200 B.C., by Witzel (Harvard) and me. During these four years we could publish Vol.1 (Rig-Veda I-II), in which I translated and annotated I 94-191, II 35, and wrote the glossary to the volume; Vol. 2 (III-V, I am in charge of Book IV) is now under the publisher's redaction; manuscripts for Vol. 3 (VI-VIII, I deal with Book VII) are under preparation. The whole project will be accomplished in three or four years. Old Indo-Aryan morphology and its Indo-Iranian background which I wrote as a basic tool for researches will soon be published by Austrian Academy of Sciences.
