The HPV 16/18 vaccine for prevention of cervical cancer is principally type-specific and can protect approximately 70% of cervical cancer. We developed a prophylactic vaccine effective against a broader spectrum of HPVs associated with cervical cancer. We now need clinical trial for clinical application.
