従来の加算型BV+G分解に対して, 乗算型のBV×G分解法と提案し、加算型分解と乗算型分解との性能比較をおこなった. Wavelet Color Shrinkageを開発した。また, Wavelet Color Shrinkage用いたTV-L1画像分解アルゴリズムを考案した. BV+G分解を用いて, ディジタルカメラ用の新しいイメージプロセッシングパイプラインの開発し, その性能評価を行った.
