In this research, we tried to clarify characteristics of the painting of Domenichino who was active in early 17^<th> century Rome, and their relation with the "imagination", which was regarded as an important momentum of creation in the art theory of the Renaissance. In particular, we examined the 'Flagellation of St. Andrew' painted by Domenichino in competition with Guido Reni, and pointed out that this painter took into consideration the 'imagination of ordinary people' to realize the persuasive narrative of the episode.

本研究试图阐明活跃于17^世纪早期罗马的多梅尼奇诺的绘画特点<th>，以及它们与文艺复兴艺术理论中被视为重要创作动力的“想象力”的关系。特别是，我们研究了多梅尼奇诺在与圭多雷尼的竞争中画的“圣安德鲁的鞭打”，并指出这位画家考虑到了“普通人的想象力”，以实现这一事件的说服力叙事。
