PRACTICAL RESEARCH ON IMPROVING SECONDARY SCHOOL MATHEMATICS LESSONS BASED ON THE TWO-AXES PROCESS MODEL OF UNDERSTANDING MATHEMATICS

本研究的两个主要研究结果如下：(1)数学理解的两轴过程模型能够体现和应用于中学数学课堂教学。基于该模型的原则和方法可以作为设计和改进数学课的有效指导。(2)根据各学校的实际情况，与教师一起长期深入地实施“课学”，是提高中学教师能力，加深学生对数学概念、性质和关系的理解的有效途径。

Two main results of this research are the followings.(1) The two-axes process model of understanding mathematics can be embodied and used for improving secondary school mathematics lessons. The principles and methods based on the model can be used as the effective guidelines for designing and improving mathematics lessons.(2) The long-going and intensive implementation of "lesson study" with teachers according to a real situation in each school can be an effective way to enhance secondary school teachers' abilities and deepen students' understanding of mathematical concepts, properties and relations.
