結晶成長に及ぼす対流の影響を体系的に研究する第一歩として、平滑界面からのミクロ・マクロモルフォロジ不安定性発生限界に対する対流の寄与を明らかにすることを目的とした研究を行った。サクシノニトリル-アセトン系の拡散係数を光学的手法により測定し、幅広い濃度領域のデータを得た。また、対流の有無による結晶成長時の界面形態の相違について調べ、成長界面形状および成長速度を明らかにした。
