肺癌に対する抗癌剤であるGefitinibは、よく効く症例がある反面、まったくの無効例や重篤な副作用を発症する症例も多く、その奏効予測因子の同定が求められている。我々はEGFRのリン酸化がGefitinib感受性と高度に相関することを見出した。この知見に基づき、Gefitinib投与前にその奏功性をより簡便、迅速かつ正確に予測する診断法を確立した。
