近年、生活習慣病などに起因する心血管病の増加とともに、その病態基盤として血管内皮傷害が注目されている。正常血管内皮細胞は血栓形成を抑制し生じた血栓を溶解する機能を有するが、傷害内皮ではこれらの機能に異常をきたす。本研究では血栓溶解を担う線溶活性化因子に着目し、その内皮細胞からの分泌動態を蛍光顕微鏡によりリアルタイムに解析し、新たな線溶活性調節機構を見いだした。これにより内皮傷害の病態解明、傷害の予防などへ繋がることが期待できる。
