The successful outcome of dental implant treatment depends on the interface between living bone and titanium implant surface. In this area, direct structural and functional contacts are needed. We developed the implants having mechanical compatibility and bioactive interface, thus having calcium phosphate films were prepared by radiofrequency (RF) magnetron sputtering. Results of animal study indicated that this film was useful as modification of implant surface.
