本研究において、発現クローニングを用いて、アトピー性皮膚炎患者の汗過敏性の原因抗原(汗抗原)の同定を試みた。ヒト皮膚cDNAライブラリーを作成し、COS7細胞に遺伝子導入を行い、その培養上清および細胞破砕物についてアトピー性皮膚炎患者好塩基球を用いてヒスタミン遊離試験を行うことで、クローンのスクリーニングを行った。計12万クローンについてスクリーニングを行ったが、有意にヒスタミン遊離活性をもつ分子の同定には至らなかった。

In this study, we found that the antigens (sweat antigens) of hypersensitivity in patients with dermatitis were the same as those in patients with chronic dermatitis.
