axon guidance moleculeであるNetrin-1及びDCCの発現をmRNAレベルでヒトグリオーマ細胞株、ヒトグリオーマ摘出標本にて確認した。複数のヒトグリオーマ細胞株でNetrin-1の発現が見られ、U87ではDCCの発現も見られた。ヒトグリオーマ摘出標本でも同様に、Netrin-1及びDCCの発現が見られ、組織型や症例ごとにその発現プロファイルは一様ではなかった。ヒトグリオーマのbiologyにaxon guidance moleculeであるNetrin-1及びDCCが何らかの影響を及ぼしている可能性が示唆された。
