项目摘要

本研究は,抽象化した音楽表情のコントローラに基づき,集約したパラメータ制御によって,簡易に実時間で生き生きとした音楽表情を作りだすインタフェースを開発することを課題とした.具体的には,フレーズ表現とアテンションの移動に着目した複数旋律音楽の表情付けモデル(Pop-E)をベースとした,音楽構造解析支援機能の整備と,スライダによるパラメータセット操作により実時間で演奏を生成するシステムの実装を行う.本年度は,以下の項目についての研究・調査を実施した.1.音楽構造解析支援機能の整備外部ファイルに記述された演奏制御パラメータと,MusicXML形式で記述した音楽構造情報(グループ構造,フレージングの頂点,アテンションパート)を入力とし,オフラインで動作するプロトタイプシステムに対し,グループ構造の解析候補機能と演奏制御パラメータのインタラクティブ制御機能,フレーズとその頂点音の編集機能の実装を行った.2.Pop-Eインタラクティブシステムの実装に向けての調査実装済みのプロトタイプシステムを,操作パラメータの記録機能,実時間演奏レンダリング機能を有するリアルタイム動作版に拡張するために,音楽情報科学研究会,エンターテイメントコンピューティング(EC),インタラクション,ACII2007,NIME2007,の各学会に参加し,演奏表現に関するインタラクティブシステムの類似研究の調査と,MIDIコントローラ,テルミン,Wiiコントローラなどのジェスチャ・センサデバイスに関する情報収集と意見交換を実施した.また,本システムの応用・実利用先の検討として,音楽教育支援に関する予備調査として,小〜中学生を対象としたケーススタディの実施,音楽教育学会への参加・情報収集を行った.
