项目摘要

1 研究成果の公表。世界史書文献に関する新見解、および世界史書に叙述された世界認識に関して、国内外6つの学会・シンポジウムで報告の機会を行った。その中でも、ケンブリッジ大学で開催された第9回イスラーム写本会議の研究発表に応募し、報告者の研究報告"A Forgotten nkhanid Historical Work : Abu al-Qasim Kashani's Zubdatat-Tawarikh"が採用されたことは特筆に価する。本報告は、ペルシア語世界史書の中で最も有名な史料の一つ『集史』第2巻の成立について、先行研究の説を覆す新しい説を提示したものであったが、この説は国際学会に集った写本研究者たちの賛同を得るに至った。また、本年度には、英語論文1本、日本語論文1本を刊行した。その中でも、英語論文"A Study on the Geographicat Understanding of Hamd-Allah Mustawfi"は初年度にアジア世界史学会(AAWH)第2回国際大会で報告した内容の一部を、論文として公表したものである。これは、報告者がこれまで最も力を注いで研究しているハムド・アッラー・ムスタウフィー(1344年頃没)という知識人による『心魂の歓喜』という作品が、先行研究で指摘されてきたように単なる地理書ではなく、歴史を含むその他の事象に関する情報も含んだ博物誌であることを明らかにした最新の研究で、報告者の初めての英語論文である。2 史資料収集。アラビア語、ペルシア語、トルコ語で書かれた世界史書・地理書文献の写本・石版本調査をイギリス、アイルランド、トルコ、イランの4カ国14図書館で行い、本研究に必要な文献の画像データの購入に成功した : ①2013年8月21日～9月11日 : ケンブリッジ大学付属図書館、ボードリアン図書館、英国図書館、チェスター・ビーティー図書館、スレイマニエ図書館、バヤズィト国立図書館、②2014年2月14日～3月14日 : テヘラン大学付属中央図書館、イラン国立図書館、議会図書館、マレク国立図書館、ゴレスターン宮殿付属図書館、ミーノヴィー図書館、人文科学・文化研究所付属中央図書館、タブリーズ中央図書館、スレイマニエ図書館。
