LPSによるB細胞の増殖活性にかかわる細胞内シグナル伝達系を明らかにする目的で, LPS刺激後のB細胞の増殖反応と細胞内リン酸化反応について検討を行った結果, 増殖反応がみられた場合には25kDaの基質タンパク質(p25)のチロシンリン酸化反応が誘導された. そこで, p25の性状解析を行った結果, p25はRanであること, また無刺激でも複数のp25のスポットが観察されることが明らかとなった. さらに, LPS刺激によりp25のチロシンリン酸化総量が増加し, 且つその最も酸性側のスポットの量が増加することが明らかとなった.
