研究代表者がこれまで単独冠において歯根破折防止に有効であることを示してきた補綴方法をブリッジの支台歯に適用した場合の有効性について3次元有限要素法を用いて検討することを目的に行った。3次元有限要素法では3次元モデルをいかに実態に忠実に作成するかが、解析の精度を上げるために必要である。本研究において、モデル化が困難な複根歯モデルをマイクロCT画像から作成する方法を確立した。今後の力学的解析にとって非常に有効と考えられる。
