项目摘要
日本の大学教員に占める外国人の比率は欧米主要諸国に比較して極端に少なく、国際的に魅力ある大学の形成が、日本の直面する主要な政策課題となってきた。本研究は、従来その実態が明らかでなかった日本の外国人教員についての実態を量的に把握・分析し、専門分野や出身国・地域によってその意識・行動に違いがあり、同時に、彼らが日本の大学の国際的魅力形成のための重要なインフォーマットとして機能していることを示した。
The percentage of foreign teachers in Japanese universities is extremely low compared with major European countries, the international attractiveness of Japanese universities is extremely low, and Japan faces major policy issues. This study aims to demonstrate the importance of understanding, analyzing, dividing, awareness, and action in the formation of the international charm of Japanese universities.
