The purpose of this study is to spread the usage of camellia oil to prevent rust on folklore collections (at museums). Camellia oil coating can be carried out safely and easily on a large number of folklore materials. To observe effects according to oil differences and time, test samples were set up in collection facilities with varying conditions. As a result, rust prevention was affected somewhat by differences in oil, while it depended more so on the preservation environment after treatment. Based on the results of this study, "Simple Conservation and Restoration Manual for Folklore Materials in Museums and Collection Facilities" was created.

这项研究的目的是推广山茶油的使用，以防止民俗收藏品(在博物馆)生锈。山茶油涂布可以安全、方便地对大量民俗素材进行涂装。为了根据油品的不同和时间观察效果，在不同条件下的采集设施中设置了测试样品。结果表明，油分差异对防锈效果有一定影响，而处理后的保存环境对防锈效果的影响较大。在此研究成果的基础上，编制了《博物馆和收藏设施民俗资料保护与修复简易手册》。
