医学領域の知的財産マネジメントに必須のステップを、信州大学での医工連携事例を中心に分析・検証した。さらに医学領域の知的財産マネジメント人材を、OJTで養成した。本研究の成果等を活用し、信州大学医学部・附属病院を中心として、信州地域のメディカル産業の振興を図る目的で、「信州メディカルシーズ育成拠点」を設置した。今後、当該拠点を利用して地域の技術シーズをメディカル分野へ展開する際に、本研究成果が随所で利用される。
