项目摘要

本年度は本研究の最終年度であり、交付申請書に記載したように、以下の諸点について、研究を進め、基礎的な、あるいは諭文を執筆するなどの一定程度の成果を得た。・沖縄において、南風原町等の都市地区および近郊のウタキにおいては、公園化することでウタキと自然の保全が図られていることが多いことが明らかになった。・沖縄と奄美において、引き続きユタ等へのインタビューを行い、自然をカミとするユタの自然観の一端を知る基礎的知見を得た。これは、同時に、科学的な自然観だけではなく、宗教的な自然観、あるいはスピリチユアルな自然観の重要性を示すものである。・沖縄と奄美の精神文化、宗教についての研究の一環として、仏教的な観点、特に真言宗、臨済宗、浄土真宗の観点からの分析を行い、仏教のユタ観、ユタの仏教観について論文を書き、まとめた。また、特に奄美について、研究成果報告書を作成した。・スピリチュアリティについての研究を進め、ユタとスピリチュアルケアについて、学会発表を行った。また、スピリチュアリティに関する一つの仮説を立てることができた。・シャーマニズム全般について研究を進め、ユタを沖縄を中心としながらも、広い視野から考察する墓礎的な知見を得た。
