研究の背景と目的：特別支援教育が推進されている中、発達障害児への支援は重要な検討課題である。しかし性教育に関しては現在障害の有無に関わらず根強い性教育不要論などから統一性がなく地域格差などがみられる。障害のある子どもの場合、一般的な性行動を誤解することから生じる不適正行動により性被害や性加害の対象にもなりかねない。そこで発達障害児に対してどのような性教育を行うことが有用か検討することを目的とした。方法１：初年度は、障害のある子どもに対する性教育の実態調査を目的とし、その中でも障害のある思春期女子の月経や月経随伴症状に焦点をあて調査を実施した。得られた結果から本年度は保護者の不安について取り上げ分析した。結果１：月経が未発来である子どもをもつ保護者は月経発来のある子どもをもつ保護者に比べ月経に関する内容で不安が有意に高くなっていた。そのため、ピアサポートの場や保護者が不安を表出できるよう学校との連携や地域でのシステムの構築の必要性が示唆された。方法２：初年度から実施している教員の性教育に対する意識に関して、半構成的面接を引き続き実施した。結果２：意識に関連する要因として文化的社会的要因や、コミュニティにより意識格差があることが明らかになった。そのため今後は、特にどのような要因が意識に関連するのかについて、多変量解析するとともに、教員の意識改革の必要性の有無や、現状に即した性教育の方法について検討する必要性が示唆された。
